Where is the Rustling Wood? is a sound work created for Metal Harvest 2015. The piece was heard by entering a structure made of hay bales on Cathedral Square Peterborough. The sounds in the piece were all harvested from the countryside around Peterborough and question the relationship between the sounds of the local countryside and the production of food. As part of the commission the public were invited to contribute their own recordings to form part of an evolving online composition.
