Trouble in the Ether
This piece was developed for the 12-channel ambisonic system at Diapason Gallery, New York. The piece uses recordings of helicopter flights recorded in Sao Paulo, Hampshire and at London Heliport. The original recordings were heavily filtered and processed to produce the resultant material. Additional pitch material was generated in Supercollider based on flight coordinates.
